This game, like GTA, is an open world game in which the player can choose to do missions to unlock new items from the blackmarket, or simply roam around doing what they wish. In all just cause is really nothing to be concerned about if your son is about 12 or so (unless he is not to be trusted). There isn't too much blood unless you do the glitch where someone gets stuck under the wheel of your car for like 5 seconds. 2 because you never are required to go there except in one mission where you have to escort a prostitute there and 3 you can just trust your son either not to go there or just kill everybody there. I wouldn't stress about the mile high club because 1 its extremely hard to get to cause its literally a mile high up in the air (its the big blimp you'll see it). There is a mile high club but its not like gta where you can interact with anyone. It also has a great message to stand up for your country. EVERYTHING, well almost everything, CAN EXPLODE! The character you play as is secret agent Rico Rodriguez who is bringing justice to a country with a bad president or government or something like that so good role models. I love free roam/ open world games and just cause 2 is one of the best.
